What the service is
This site provides a free, browser-based tool for designing graffiti-style lettering and exporting it as a PNG image or an SVG vector file. All rendering happens on your device. The service is offered as-is and without charge.
Your artwork
This is the part most people want to know, so it is stated plainly. Artwork you create with this tool is yours.
- You may use exported artwork for personal or commercial purposes.
- You may sell, print, publish, modify and redistribute it.
- No attribution to this site is required.
- No watermark is applied and no usage limit is imposed.
This is possible because every typeface used in the generator is released under the SIL Open Font License or the Apache License 2.0, and because the SIL licence explicitly places no restriction on documents or images created with a font. The licences govern the font files, not your output.
Intellectual property in the site
The site itself — the renderer, the interface, the written reference material and the design — remains the property of its author and is protected by copyright. You may not copy, republish or redistribute the site or its substantial parts without permission.
The typefaces are the property of their respective designers and are used under the open-source licences named on the about page.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to:
- Produce material that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful or sexually explicit.
- Infringe the intellectual property of others — including using the tool to reproduce a third party’s protected logo or trade mark.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems that serve it.
- Scrape or mirror the site’s content or assets for republication elsewhere.
- Present the site or its output as an endorsement of any act that is unlawful in your jurisdiction.
What this site is not
This is a design tool. It is not a guide, manual or encouragement to paint on property you do not own. Marking property without the owner’s permission is unlawful in most jurisdictions, and nothing on this site should be read as suggesting otherwise. Permission from the property owner is required before any physical work is done, without exception.
